To all Orca Scuba friends.

As you know we are passionate about conservation especially for the marine environment. One of our missions is to educate the local community and particularly the younger generation about what they can to do protect our oceans to make them a healthier place.

We are very proud to announce that on the evening of Saturday, the 18th of March, in conjunction with S.E.A. Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa, Orca Scuba will be conducting a very special event.

This will include:

  • A presentation by Jeroen van de Waal, CEO of Orca Scuba about what we are doing to educate kids about marine environment conservation and about his first book “Together We Can Turn Tides – A Manifesto to Save the Oceans, Planet and Ourselves” which will be launched at the event.
  • A talk by the S.E.A. Aquarium about the importance of community outreach programs and public education, their upcoming conservation initiatives and their plans for World Oceans Day celebrations.
  • A talk by guest speaker and Orca Scuba collaborator, world renowned Chief Innovation Officer with DBS bank Singapore and active conservationist Neal Cross about our future joint venture “Leafs and Reefs”, a global eco-tourism initiative which combines land and ocean conservation.
  • A talk by the PADI Vice President of Training, Sales & Field Services Danny Dwyer, emphasizing the importance of scuba diving in conjunction with education and marine conservation.

The event will take place at the Ocean Gallery inside S.E.A. Aquarium against the spectacular backdrop of the world’s largest acrylic viewing panel measuring 36 meters wide by  x 8.3 meters tall. Refreshments will be available at the event and guests will have free access to the rest of the Aquarium after the talks.

This event taking place from 19:30 – 22:00 is now fully booked. We hope due to its success that we will have many more similar events in the future and look forward to inviting you!
